RFID Card

RFID card description:
RFID is the collective name of the radio frequency technology system, and the RFID card is the radio frequency card. The radio frequency card is the chip card containing the frequency induction. The card contains the IC or ID chip. Currently, the cards appearing on the market can be divided into: low frequency card, high frequency. Card, UHF card. Most of the membership cards seen in life belong to the IC card. Like the bus card, the access card, etc. are all IC cards, or they can be ID cards. The difference between the IC card and the ID card lies in the chip contained in the card. The IC chip belongs to the high frequency. The ID chip belongs to the low frequency. The IC card has a security function, but the ID card does not. In terms of usage habits, RFID cards can be divided into standard cards and shaped cards. The standard card is a common PVC card. The standard card size is 85.5*54*0.76mm, and the special-shaped card is a special-shaped card as long as it is not the standard size. In addition, it is necessary to understand that a magnetic stripe card or a PVC membership card without a chip does not belong to an RFID card, an RFID card is a radio frequency card, and no frequency chip is not called an RFID card.

RFID system:
1. Electronic label: According to the label, the electronic label can be divided into three types: read-only, one-time writable and multiple-writable. The read-only and writable tags have specific electronic codes and cannot be changed.
2. Reader: A tool for reading tag information. According to the separation of the antenna and the module, it can be divided into a separate reader and an integrated reader.
3. Antenna: A device that transmits or receives radio frequency signals between a tag and a reader.

The basic working principle of RFID:
When the tag enters the working area of the reader, the antenna of the electronic tag receives electromagnetic waves emitted from the reader, and generates an induced current in the coil through electromagnetic coupling. The electronic tag uses the current as energy, and the information in the chip passes through the antenna to electromagnetic waves. The form is sent back to the reader, and the entire process of reading is completed by such a program.

Application of RFID technology:
At present, RFID technology is widely used in logistics and supply management, manufacturing and assembly, air baggage handling, mail parcel processing, library management, access control, road automatic charging and other industries.
